it's my stance. for some reason i tend to flex the right more/better than the left. they are uniform in size though.

Arms and deltoids look really good. Your lats and legs could stand to be bigger.

ty ty. doin' squats, deads, and leg press with my HST training. any new suggestions, or should i just shutup and give it more time? i'm kind of an impatient person. but i do realize they need more work. I started with chicken legs though. I'm just happy to have some definition on them so far.

maybe once every so often switch out DL for SLDL to hit your hammies, or add a set or two of leg press after your squats to really kill your legs. i feel after i squat and add a set of a heavy leg press my legs feel extremely exhausted, seems like its working for me.. what does your HST routine look like? i did one a while ago and it felt pretty good, but i dont think i had a very good routine for it.

i see, well if i was you i would definitely do squats instead of leg press (not sure if you were just supplementing press for squats or what, but squats are always better than leg press). and as far as DL goes, i would do two sets. the compound lifts can handle the 2 sets, whereas the isolation lifts only really need 1. other than that, kinda looks similar to what mine looked like :)

I would expect that deadlift # to go up pretty quickly. My row is usually in the same area as my OH press (maybe it's just me), so you might wanna focus on back as well as legs. Very good numbers all around tho.

A couple comments on your routine... Why 190 reps of abs work? It seems a bit excessive... I agree with GiZZ054 also. For deadlifts, I would try to do two sets and do squats in place of leg press. Is close to the limit of what you can do for 10 reps of deadlifts? If so, that's defiantly an area you want to work on. Obviously I don't want you to go and hurt yourself with too much weight, but at your size and experience level (305 pound bench!) you should be able to deadlift a great deal more than that.

thanks guys. you are correct. I just got off of 2 straight weeks of squatting, wanted to try something different for a week. So i should be doing 2 full sets of both legs AND deads? isn't that a bit much? i thought 3 was pushing it, but i suppose i can do another set of deads. I'll definately be going back to squats next week, just wanted to try something different was all. Also.. not trying to make excuses or anything, but deadlifts are VERY new to me. I just started doing them for the first time 2 months ago. so i'm kinda cautious. I'll do my best to up the weight if at all possible without hurting myself. As for the abs.. well, it only takes me about 5 to 10 mins to do them. might as well, can't hurt anything right? thanks for the criticism. i appreciate it. yeah i dont think 2 full sets of squats and DL would be too much.. i would definitely try it to see how it works for you. and yeah, take DL slow if you're new to them. when i started them i upped the weight too fast and tweaked my back, you don't want that to happen :)

2 sets of each might be a lot if you're doing both three times a week. 6-9 total sets between squats and deadlifts for the whole week might be a good target. Maybe 2 sets of squats on two days, and 2 sets of deadlilfts on two days, so that you're only doing them on the same day once. That's a valid excuse. Expect the number to go up quickly. Try to ramp it up by 10+ lbs on a weekly basis once you have good form. Agreed 100%. Since you're already strong, you should be able to add 10 pounds a week for a while. But since you're new to them, it's prudent to be careful.
