2 months lifting pics (no progress pics, sorry) - Wednesday, June 25, 2008 9:21 PM ( #1 )
So anyway, I kinda don't like posting pics, but I'm gonna do it anyways, haha. Sorry about some of the poses and stuff, I didn't know what to do. I could definitely use a lot more mass. Over the two months, I gained 7-8 lbs, so that's great. (127-128 lbs now) I'm gonna start HST soon as well since a lot of people seems to like it. I kinda wanna know my body fat % guess, and enjoy!

My lifts progress (5 rm)
Squat: 95-130
Bench: 75-105
Deadlift: Working on form with 135, so no progress rly. I guess I started at 70ish, haha.

Myspace angle back shot?

Btw, sorry, no leg pics :(

I think I tried to beat the system by uploading many at once.

i think he's 16 from what he told me awhile back, but i could be wrong.

pssst...   believe it or not, i looked almost exactly like you about 6 years ago when i started lifting.  it took me years of training, mistakes, and learning to get to where i'm at now.

while i'm not trying to discourage your, just know that it's going to take some work.  it won't always be easy.. but the results are worth it.

you are in the right place.  keep in mind that there are lots of different opinions as far as advice goes, and not every single opinion has 100% relevance to your situation.  this is b/c EVERYONE's body is different, and we all react differently to stimuli that is thrown at us.

here is my recommendation.  if i had known this 6 years ago, i would have progressed much quicker than 6 years.

1.) supplements are there to aid you.  they WILL NOT get you big, but they can help with energy, nutrients, etc...

2.) focus on your diet first.  you are at the bare minumum right now, and your body is going crazy and it's eating everything in sight that you throw at it.  in order to get big you're going to have to OVERLOAD it with food.  EAT EAT EAT!! EAT like it's your JOB!   6 to 8 meals a day.   EAT until you are close to vomitting  haha.. i'm being dead serious.   you want to get big, you have GOT to eat.     even if you gain some tummy fat, that is fine.. but everything else will get bigger too.  trust me.  you've seen my journal, so you know what i'm talking about.

3.)  training.   train hard,  don't miss a day of training.  stay dedicated.  if you have a partner to help you.. that is beneficial as it allows someone to watch your form (form must be as good as you can get it) and they can also spot you in certain scenarios

carbs are your friend.  don't be afraid of food/carbs.   EAT!

i vote you start researching HST. depending on your experience, we can get you a great routine set up.. and if you start a good bulking diet.. you will grow fairly fast IMO

Haha. I'm around 5"8. When I said my bf% is around 6-8%, you said that I'd probably be a raily person with 6-8%, haha ;)

@SilverFox:
Yeah, I understand all of that, haha. I only have a whey protein (no multi or fish oil or anything, haha). My mom HIGHLY discourages supplements. So far, my diet hasn't been bad. I don't eat the same foods everyday or anything. I just have a huge idea of the meals I'm gonna eat and I just choose w/e I feel like depending on time. For instance, maybe it's 6:00 so I'll have some brown rice+chicken+brocolli, haha. I actually had a pretty good diet set up, but I almost killed myself eating it, haha (seriously, I put on too much). I think it's pretty hard just getting 3.5k calories a day.

About training, I'm gonna do HST, but smoundzou's variation. It looks really solid in my opinion.

@Daniel265
I've seen people with smaller frames than me, haha. Believe it or not, my frame actually grew slightly bigger in the two months that I've been lifting.

And as Silver said, I'm 16.
