18 and need some help

Im 18 178lb 6,0 and im starting weight train more now that im down to 178 and ive been wondering how much calories i should eat everyday and when i should take my whey protien and how much each day and everyday i lift or everyday plus how much cardio should do to help me become more cut? plz post

so are you wanting to get bigger? defined? check out the calorie calculator, they're stickied on the diet and nutrition thread i think. take a look at that then we'll go over routines and workouts if you think you can be dedicated enough to stick to the diet. simply put, like my lifting influence told me, if you cant stick to the diet dont bother showin up. its harsh, but thats how i feel.

If you have a high metabolism and dont have much fat then I would eat a lot of meals and protien throughout the day. Especially after you excerise, eat lots of protien (meat, fish, bread). And dont lift everyday, rest one day after a workout or for example on one day you can do leg lifting while the other you can arm lifting and alternate, but make sure each muscle group gets a day of complete rest after a workout. Basically what I do, is just eat loads and loads of food, i eat whatever I can get my hands on with protien (excpet i dont have a gram of fat).
