MVP RS pictures supports his statement that he burned fat while building muscle. Too many people are putting down the keto anymore saying you needs carbs and blah blah blah they need to just STFU cause results speak louder than science does. I don't want to come across like I'm putting down Keto but lots of people don't follow the diet as it should be.. eating the wrong type of fats and ending up with other issues... But seriously now.. I don't want to start off onthe whole twisted genetics argument but RS has some seriously superior genetics for building muscle and staying lean... I would imagine it's probably as hard for him to put on fat as it is for others to lose fat and gain muscle... And I'm not putting down his hard work by any means... but I think he's truely one of the lucky individuals who can stay lean, add muscle and strength... If he were willing to juice up by the time he hit his mid 20's he would be a monster..

If he were willing to juice up by the time he hit his mid 20's he would be a monster.. Theres gonna be a sweet spot for everyone though where they can comfortably stay lean and still gain. Maybe they wont be able to hold it down to around 6% but somewhere just a tad higher. I dont believe anyone has to get fat to be big.

smoundzou I agree with you that RS has some pretty good genetics. But there are a couple of other guys that have started the keto with belief that they will never try another diet too. JonB is a huge guy that had complained in many threads it was difficult for him to get any leaner, he tried the keto and now his results are just phenomenal. I know you weren't trying to put down the keto and generally just made a point that it may not always work for everyone else the way it did for RS and I agree with that.. but I do believe if the diet is followed the way it was is designed to (healthy fats, protein and a carb up day) that you can easily achieve some pretty phenomenal results.

I have to say, i dont really know to much about metabolic typing but it seems that some people do handle carbohydrates better than others, and those people would probably do well on higher carb diets too. I know my body doesnt handle carbs real well, its just always been that way. I eat too many, I get worn out. So while keto seems to be the perfect diet to me, Ive never lived in another body before and dont know how different people handle different macronutrients. But then again, idk how much truth there is to metabolic typing in the first place. Id be willing to bet that anyone who plataues in the single digits could break it by switching to keto from a higher carb diet.

I still sugest a moderate cut for 4-6 weeks to get your bodyfat to a lower level and then slow bulk from there. As you can see from my pictures I am able to hold a substantial ammount of muslce with 8% bodyfat year round eating carbs. I don't lose muslce if I start to diet and I can still go out and eat normal foods. I don't have to pick the burger off the bun and can enjoy a beer anytime. I have seen some good results from keto no dobut.

MVP RollingStone CKD for diet, HST or DC for weights, and HIIT for cardio. This combination is superior. You cannot go wrong with that right there ^. That comment should end this discussion. what do all those letters mean? all i know is HIIT

HST (Hypertrophy Specific Training) DC (Dogcrap training) Look them up on Google and pick one, although I would do DC.

Nm0ney34 we have suggested a few things, are you even looking it up? Whats with some of these newer people? Go to critique my training section. Look for DC Training. I wrote up a small program there. Do it. Go to "why you should be on keto" and look at how to do keto. There is even a little bit of discussion on HIIT in there now.
