Hey everyone, new to the forum but i have scrolled through here quiet a bit. My question is when i work my arms/shoulders and comlpete my usual workout i notice my left arm if the only arm really burning. The right does but not near as much and doesnt look as big as left but close. Also during the work out i noticed my right arm works easier but is alot smaller then my left arm. Is this normal? Is my right arm just stronger? Also i have noticed ahard spot on my left peck. I have been told it is a "calcium build up" but i am not to sure about this? Can anyone throw in some input on what it might be? Thanks

Hey Zack, welcome to the forum.

My advice for you, would be just to continue what your doing. Over time, as long as you are working both biceps equally (NO EXCEPTIONS) both biceps will, over time, morph to appear the same, and act the same. Don't worry so much. As for your calcium build-up hmm, well I'm clueless there. Get that sheet checked out pronto.

sounds like yoru right is strong which is normal and maybe could be from work or something.
Stick with DB work for a spell so that your left is forced to do its own work and catch up.

i would say move off of machines, try dumbbell bench press first if you're especially unbalanced, as both will have to do their own work...barbell would be fine too, provided that you dont have like a real unequal slant going

Even on the machines I let off weight and try to push hard with the right, its frusrating but ill try the dumb bells, I always thought machines build muscles evenly

No on machines it's easy for one side to pick up the slack on the other on a db they are completely independent also check your form on the machines if you left elbow is straight out when you use them and you right is bent down a little bit that could be your problem

ok so today at the gym i tried other things.

the machines i did were independent so both muscles did equal work, i also did dumb bell benching, its still the same thing, left side is feeling alot more sore than the right, and its bulging alot more. im getting discouraged, anymore advice, i might get a personal trainer...
