17.5g/day enough during loading phase?

Is 17.5g of creatine per day, for 5 days, enough for a loading phase? They are pills and the labels say a serving is 5 pills, or 3.5g, so 5 servings is 17.5g. Also, if I start tomorrow, I will load tomorrow. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.. and then maintain starting Monday. The quesions I have is: should I still load on the weekends, even though I will not train then? Also what side effects to loading are there?

you should take the creatine all week even whe n youre not working out. no side effects to loading, just make sure you drink 1-2 gallons of water a day
