Your doing great already if you've lost 41lbs, stick to running and weights, eat healthily every 2-3 hours, get at least 8 hours sleep and you should lose weight, eating healthy is important though. Once you've lost some more weight you can focus on gaining more muscle, and making your muscle more defined, get some protein supplements, cut down on the cardio and focus on weight training. Thats just basic info but make sure you have a target that will keep you motivated like someone you want to impress or to change your image, it has to be constant though otherwise it will not motivate you long enough to see the difference. Wear something preferably cotton, or designed for sport and training don't think it matters what.

I just did my first morning run and needless to say it was a ****hehe. I could only go about 8 minutes of full running before slowing down to a crawl. I was able to make it to my goal of the wall without stopping in my gated community but lost it towards the end. I also noticed that my left foot is already forming a callus and the my right foot has a blister on it. (How you take care of those?) Gonna be working out later at around 4:30 for my 1 hour workout. Keep you posted~ My first meal was a ham and cheese sandwhich with mircale whip mayo (wheat bread) i'm guessing around 400 cals. Also a orange juice probably around anouther 100 cals.

Yeah umm, I kinda just got around to reading this post. :p I disagree. The more muscle you have the easier it'll be to burn fat, as the more muscle one has, the more fat is metabolised by the muscle. Bulk first, cut later. And you look very skinny as it is. Still do cardio twice a week but focus on weights and gaining mass! Trust me, you'll look ripped in no time.

I am doing fairly well. Today I was actully able to double my original goal in terms of cardio and it feels good. I havn't had any lack of motivation due to watching mixed martial arts videos, I want to look as bad ass as those guys. As for gaining muscle before doing cardio I don't really have any weights I can use. All I have are 2 crappy 1 hand, 10 lb weights. Would push ups still be able to do the job? I can barely do any pushups at all my upper body is fairly weak at least in my arms but within a 3 day period I can already see results and I've pushed off a good 4 lbs already and I think I've added some muscle. I am going to go buy some protein shakes today but when do I take them? I have no weights except crappy 10lb ones. Am I able to still work my upper body? Thanks to anyone who helps me out, peace.

I ended up getting a bad cut on my knee and have been unable to really do cardio other then swimming. I'm going to let it heal for one more day before I get back on track. I am still eating right. I almost gave in and ate a moon cookie but didn't ! Drinking water i sgetting ugh....hate it. I refilled my fridge with healthy food though so I should be feeling great.

You could just go to the gym. And even if you don't want to then you can still get a full workout from dumbbells alone. Buy a pair of adjustable dumbbells, they're cheap nowadays and weight doesn't cost that much either. 4x 5kg 4x 2.5kg 4x 1.25kg 4x 0.5kg You could live off that much weight for a while, that's 37kg. Assuming that it's $2.20AU per kilogram then that'll cost you $81.4AU, plus the dumbbells it'll come down to somewhere around $100-110AU. ...Or you could go gym. =D lol

1 Thing you also need to remember, is that you cannot work the same muscle group every day. You need ATLEAST 48 hours between workouts. You can do alot with 10 lb weights. Push ups, sit ups, reverse crunches, Towl pull ups, Plank stances, etc. I have done full body work outs with just 15 lb weights, and I did all muslce groups. Do squats, use your own weight for the resistance, etc.

another thing you could do is get one of the big workout balls, i think they are called swiss balls? but you can get a decent workout on those. I use that when I cannot make it to the gym. You can workout basically everything on one of those. Just post asking for more info if you decide to get one! (I think swiss balls are around $20 but don't quote me on that!)
