ha ya i remember being 15 (3 years ago). Around the same age i started lifting, and I learned the same way you did too, ask the elders. Basically what they told me was experiment with different exercises (kinds, sets, and reps). You try different things but basically whats worked great for me are as follows. Chest - Inclined benchpress, dips, decline bench press, bench press, flys, dumbell press Triceps - Skull Crushers (or nose crushers), cable pull downs, behind head dumbell raises Biceps - EZ bar curls, straight bar curls, dumbell curls, hammer curls Upper Back - Barbell Rows, Pull ups (wide grip works wounders), Lat pull down. Lower Back - Dead Lifts, good mornings, power cleans. Shoulders - Lateral raises, dumbell press, standing military press (helps balance this way as well) Forearm - Rope Pullups, Reverse grip curls, wrist curls (reverse wrist curls), farmers walks Neck - Shrugs!!! (barbell and dumbell, also behind shrugs) Legs - Squats, Box climbers, lunges, leg press Calves - seated calf raises, stiff leg leg presses (moving weight by moving foot only), standing calf raises. Abs - flat leg crunches, dip bicycle exercise, decline crunches. You can try those for starters, see if you like any and add or remove whatever. Also, eat alot of protein and carbs (for energy, not too much, though). I wouldnt use any supplements at that age, however.
