15 Year Old Workout - need help!! - Wednesday, April 08, 2009 8:18 AM ( #1 )
im 15 years old, i weigh 82 kilo, i think thats 160 lbs. (im german so i dont know)
i play a tough sport called handball ,if u got any questions bout that, just ask.
im 1,80 meter tall
with clothes on,i dont look fat at all,i actually look like i allready workout
i think thats because of my wide shoulders, but...
i really want to build up muscle&of course strength and i need help in making plans in working out and eating.
now,i know i have to eat like 6 times a day,but i really have no idea what to eat or how much.
i've got lots of dumbells(different weights) at home,a bench and a wide bar thingy ;P (not sure how its called)
so... i would be really really happy if somebody could help me out here.

Sean

That's because it is simple. Look up starting strength, do the routine like it says and eat ALOT. All there is to it for about your first 6 months of lifting.
Goals by end of 2009:
Bench 205
Squat 255 ATG
Squat Clean 185

i typically eat every 2 and a half to 3 hours depending onmy class schedule and how busy we are at work when im supposed to eat. So my eating schedule is a little more planned out and maticulate than most.
But i would shoot for no more than every three hours.
You can lift really whenever you want. The "power" you were reffering to means your testosterone is higher in the morning, so your lifting should be more intense. I typically workout no earlier than 1 in the afternoon, so unless you are making money to lift. then it is all about when you can get to the gym.

You can if you want to gain alot of muscle..that doesn't mean you won't possibly gain some fat as that is the easiest way to gain muscle..

Eat protein, but protein gets to much focus, you still need complex carbs and good fats

you need carbs to go with that shake. This, aside from breakfast, is the one time it is ok to have some simple carbs. I would aim for half of your postworkout carbs to come from simple carbs (sugars) and the other half from complex carbs(whole wheats, brown rice, etc.)

i've been reading some forums from different pages
they say that creatine is also very good for building up muscle
is a creatine-protein shake the right thing to do?

Yes that is certainly possible, he is big don't get me wrong, but there are natural lifters that make him look like a 4'8" 90 lb. girl. Also creatine adds waterweight to the muscles, it doesn't make your muscles stronger or anything..just sayin.

It can make you look bigger. But it doesn't really make you stronger or anything.
