I think your back wont be able to take that much, so I dont recommend that. Do normal squats to build up your strength..
there are a lot of arguments that this program was designed by a phycho russian, what works for one person, may not work for another.
 
So yea, I dont recommend doing that, you can injure your back, and might just f*ck yourself up for life.

smolov cycle is for experienced lifters.

Why would he injure his back if he is not leaning forward during squats?

whats that got to do with anything? its smolov cycle, it doesnt matter if you using a proper form, you can still injure your spine/back by lifting too much, to often.

My point is, I did Korte's 3x3 and was absolutely fine squatting/ deadlifting 3x a week. Maybe this kid could try it and if he feels beat down, not continue.
