I think your back wont be able to take that much, so I dont recommend that. Do normal squats to build up your strength.. there are a lot of arguments that this program was designed by a phycho russian, what works for one person, may not work for another. So yea, I dont recommend doing that, you can injure your back, and might just f*ck yourself up for life.

smolov cycle is for experienced lifters.

My point is, I did Korte's 3x3 and was absolutely fine squatting/ deadlifting 3x a week. Maybe this kid could try it and if he feels beat down, not continue. MOP
