Hi everyone, I'm new here as you can see and I have an urge to become more muscular and fit. I'm 13 and my dad recently bought me 2 - 3.5 kilogram dumbell... light weights. I want to start a rough eating / drinking plan of what to eat to maintain fitness and help builld muscles etc...or  what  I need. Also a daily excersise plan (i.e. 10 minute curls with 3.5's, 40 minute jogging, 10 minute pushups etc). And I'm ready to devote myself 110% to this so as toukgh as you could mae it on me without it being unhealthy, basically, a program that would see my muscles look and strenght improve a fair bit so I could see fair improvements in like a month of me starting it or somthing like that would be great... but if that is too unrealiistic, I'll be ready to put in the hours for slow progress.

My goal is to become generally more fit and muscular, have a "6-pack" sort of visible, and build my weak looking biceps into being actualy muscular and look as good as they basically can for me at my age *realistic*, just building, basically all my muscles, thighs and all.. Also I'm not fat, just my thighs are a tiny bit wiggly and when I sit down and bend over forward I get these 2 ugly soft looking rolls.
I'm 13 as I said, am open to an oval 30 seconds away am around 5 foot 8 and weigh 56 kilograms.

Thanks, hope you can help me!! Smile

well, this depends if you are looking to gain mass or not, you should definately step up the weights if you are looking to get stronger, and unless you are trying to get cut. you should read the stickys on the forums.

Chinups, pushups (all varieties), dips, and pullups are great for your age.  Do them.

Thx for the replies.

"you should read the stickys on the forums." - I have flicked through most of them but the main reason I posted because of my age it would be different most likelye

"Chinups, pushups (all varieties), dips, and pullups are great for your age.  Do them." - Uh huh, roughly how many of these should I be doing a day. Also what about sit ups.

So this is what I have - Already for a daily workout:

-Around 10 laps of a 400m oval everyday.
- *unkown amount* Chinups, pushups (all varieties), dips, and pullups.
- *unkown... everything* 5kg dumbell curls and the varient where you lay down and lift them from above you to your sides while laying down.

What else? Smile

Workout so far:

-10 laps of a 400m oval everyday.
-30 Pushups, 30 dips, pullups
-20 dumbell curls
-20 hammer curls
-30 kick backs

How does it look so far? And what else for the the other muscle groups.
If I kept on doing a plan like this (plus more excersises of other mus. groups) what would the results be? Would I be getting bigger? More ripped etc. and how long do you guys think until i would start getting results. What are some good workouts to get large, mass body with my dumbells that i have.
And are there any good sites that show dumbell exercises in picture form becuase i can't find any!
And what types of foods should I be eating?

Sorry for this heap of questions it's just everything is new to me and I'm getting pretty excited and anxious!

You aren't going to get significantly larger or more massive.  You are too young and the weight is not significant.  What you will do is build a good base for yourself in the future.

exrx.net is a good website for exercises.

Say if I did 10 laps of a 400metre oval everyday and ate healthy:
(breakfast: cornflakes + banana - Recess: More fruit - Lunch: Fruit, healthy bar and a salami + letuce sandwhich, fruit before dinner and just a normal dinner with meat + vegetables and possibly potatoes or rice)
What would my results look like? What muscles would this build? What areas of fat would it burn? And most importantly in a month, what areas of my body would be skinnier and more musculer and by how much?
