It's funny how he mentions his around 5% bf, and now states that he can't be any higher than 10% bf, lol. 5% and 10% is a very big difference. Unless he provides some pictures....I don't think I or any of the other forum members will believe him.

i tried they wont go threw.. i can e-mail them?

If you want to gain weight and get bigger for football, then you will need to eat a lot of food.

It's always preferrable to eat healthy foods, but some "unhealthy" foods can be helpful in gaining weight faster.

Definately expect to lose sight of your abs while you gain weight.  Don't worry though, the fat that you gain from a good bulk is easy to lose.   Eat a lot of foods, lift heavy and consistently, and you will gain a lot of muscle.

10,000 calories a day is too much, but you most likely won't even be able to eat that much every day anyway.   Don't even worry about counting calories though.  Check your weight, and if you are gaining weight, then you know you are eating enough.  If you're not gaining weight then you simply need to eat more everyday.

There you go, finally u got a quality response.  Kiss the Abs good bye, I just did the same in my bulk, I just put on 25+lbs.  Of course I did this in about a 7-8 month period, not over night.  I was eating my ass off and taking a 1600 calorie weight gainer, still no where close to 10k calories.  Do you wanna get big and solid or fat and sloppy?

I personally disagree with the "don't worry what you eat just eat, and/or don't worry about getting fat philosophy." As I've heard mentioned before, if you start at 10% with your bulk and end up at 16%, you definitely did something wrong. Bulking is about putting on loads of muscle with little fat, not loads of both. And the way to properly avoid this is by watching what you eat, I'm against calorie counting however (personally), it's enought to drive someone crazy. Counting the small pieces of rice in your bowl with a calculator beside your fork, measuring the exact amount of water in your glass, etc. completely unnecessary.

I'm just speaking from experience:

Eating a lot of calories - lots of protien, carbs, and fats makes getting stronger much easier.

Lots of food + heavy weight = muscular weight gain.

Pack on a bunch of muscle mass, then the fat comes off pretty easily.  I'm down about 10 lbs. already, and a simple caloric deficit plus some cardio (not even necessary probably) is all it takes.  The fat is coming off VERY easily, and all the muscle I've gained is showing a lot!

I'll take pics when I hit my goal weight of 180 lbs.

Think of it this way instead of always saying its "easy" to lose fat once you have muscle.  If you bulk up and put on 20 lbs of muscle and 10 lbs. of fat you will then be dieting for a while to get that fat off, even losing some of the muscle along the way.  If you would have bulked clean and gained say 15 lbs. without any fat gain then you can keep bulking while that fatgainer is dieting.  It really is more efficient if you do it right.  Not only that but you dont have to carry around a gut just because youre dieting.

Lol, "sorry honey I'm bulking".

I'd just tell her that she has to be on top because I don't want to be burning any extra calories then necessary.

I know having a clean slow bulk is ideal, that just doesn't work for me.  If I don't increase my calories by a large enough amount I really don't gain any weight, I try to keep it as clean as I can but I am more concerned with making sure I actually put on muscle than just sit still.

Good motivation words to me who is about to cut. I've always heard the fat comes off easier than adding muscle.

I bulked wrong by only watching protein intake and my bodyfat went sky high so instead of allowing myself muscle to show off I had to keep my shirt on to the excess fat.

If you would put on a small amount of fat by eating as clean as possilbe, it's less time you would have to spend cutting in the future and more time you could spend bulking and putting on muscle. =)

if you are worried about loosing abs then find out the minimum you can eat and still gain weight. There is a point where extra calories are only going to get you fatter but just focus on gaining weight for now.
