In response to the kidneys concern, Ive heard from friends who are Dr's that they body can only metabolize a certain amount of protein in 1 setting or 1 day... If your intake is far above this, it cant process all of it and could lead to kidney stones. For bodybuilders, however, who are taking in protein commensurate with their body weight, or even a bit more, it should be ok. Im not a Dr, so i cant verify if these are true or not, but its just what i have heard.

Just drink lots of water, thats what i heard keeps that from happening, and so far ive been drinking a gallon a day for 2 years and my kidneys are fine. Have been taking protein powder for 3 years.
