thats interesting....according to wikipedia, "This process occurs during periods of fasting or starvation and is highly endergonic. Gluconeogenesis is often associated with ketosis." I am not fasting or starving. I have a great diet of regular food as well. Too much protein is bad if you dont eat ANYTHING else.

I am not fasting or starving. I have a great diet of regular food as well. Too much protein is bad if you dont eat ANYTHING else. like everyones said, good progress how much total protein p day are you talking? as far as i know protein doesnt get converted much into glucose unless it needs to be, this is the order of what your body wants to do with protein: 1. use for repairing/building muscle/tissue, 2. converted to usable forms of energy, 3. stored as fat (from a nutrition class) thats the reason that while cutting you should be eating higher protein, since some is being converted to energy you want to cover your ground in maintaining as much muscle as u can...while bulking its typically less protein since your carbs are high enough to be your primary source of energy, limiting how much protein needs to be converted...what im unsure of is whether if there is enough glucose already available if protein then generally skips 2 and starts storing as fat once it has completed 1. also, lowering protein and upping carbs will prob get you to gain weight quicker as well since protein takes more energy to digest, and carbs hold water and spare protein to be used for repair/growth
bulking/strength training soon to begin bill starr's 5X5 current maxes: squats: 255 deadlifts: 300 bench: 185 oh press: 125 goals for jan 1: squats: 300 deadlifts: 350 bench: 210 oh pressL 145

ORIGINAL: _Virtuoso_ You are right, they do, but they don't show like ribs. I am circling out on BBC28 which indents and curves are what part of the body, I'm not circling where the muscles start. This argument will never end. I've provided enough information to support my side. I rest my case.
